We’re now living in our dream house, thanks to Otke Construction.

It all started with our ideas in the form of a sheet of graph paper with some cut-outs taped to it and some raw land on the family farm. Otke was with us every step of the way from dream to reality, a process complicated by the fact that we were still living in Texas, almost 600 miles away from central Missouri.

Otke turned our sheet of graph paper into a finished plan, and was there with solid advice every time we needed it. You helped us make the most of our trips to Missouri by having everything lined up and ready for quick decisions, from construction materials to interior details to appliances and floor and wall coverings. We were able to visit and make quick decisions thanks to your understanding of our likes and dislikes and preferences. We were apprehensive about long-distance building, but the Otke team made it easy.

The house was finished on time and on budget (actually a little under budget). Many thanks for playing the key role in turning our dream into reality.

It has been several months since our first phase of remodeling was completed by your team, and we need to take this opportunity to thank you once again.

From the outset, your project management approach was oriented towards satisfying us as clients. There was no pressure, and the project budgets were transparent and consistent. When it came time to receiving invoices, there was never an unexpected or negative surprise. Based on the breadth and complexity of our remodeling needs, we were certainly braced and prepared for contingencies.

The project team that you sent into our home were so impressive in their productivity, ingenuity and positive demeanor. With remodeling an older home, great respect needs to be taken in regards to proper preservation techniques. Your team cared that their workmanship matched up to the quality with which we hoped to restore the key elements that had been neglected over the years.

The foreman on our job was always one step ahead of solving all the projects. We were so very impressed at this ability to keep different sections of the home all progressing, so that the multiple workmen always were being well-utilized. He was responsive to all of our crazy suggestions, and he had a closer eye on the budget than we did at times. We always felt like he had our best interests at heart.

You completed our project quicker than we expected, you actually saved us money from our initial budget, and we have never met a more honest team than the Ken Otke workforce and leadership.

We would never consider having anyone else work on our home.
